About School of Health Sciences
The School of Health Sciences endeavours to prepare its students for a rewarding career in clinical care, research or academia. Presently, we have about 900 students pursuing different bachelor’s degree programs, namely Clinical Medicine and Community Health, Nursing, Forensic Science, Medical Biotechnology, Medical Engineering, Community Health and Development and Health Information and System Management. These academic programmers are accredited by recognized by the Commission for University Education and requisite regulatory bodies in Kenya.
The School has high-qualified faculty and scientists with a rich background in a wide variety of medical and basic science disciplines. We have also established Memoranda of Understanding with well-equipped hospitals and Institutions for industrial tours, clinical practice and field attachment. Our students have access to state-of-the-art laboratories, library and recreational facilities. Also, we have adopted information communication technology to ensure student experience the best training.
